This architectual gem is the main tourist attraction of Segovia and is not to be missed. Crossing the entire city, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the most precious and best preserved monuments in Spain.
The legend says that this aqueduct was built by Lucifer in a single night, because he wanted to win a maiden's soul. Luckily, he failed and did not finish it by dawn.
Segovia makes up for a great day trip from Madrid. Easily accessible by train or bus.
