Avenue of Stars

Local name星光大道 Avenue of Stars
LocationHong Kong, China

Did you think Hollywood is the only place where you can find a Walk of Fame? This avenue will prove you wrong. Take a stroll through the pathway stretching next to the sea and check out the plaques with handprints of living as well as dead movie stars, mostly of Chinese origin.

Opened in 2004, the promenade features as many as 101 stars' plaques, including Chow Yun Fat, Jet Li or Jackie Chan. Bruce Lee also had his bronze statue on display here for some time but now it stands outside Madam Tussauds.

Unfortunately, the avenue is closed for repair works until the beginning of 2019. You can still come and take a picture with some of the statues.
