Bardenas Reales Natural Park

This natural park is one of the few deserts in Europe. It comprises of vast semi-desert plains and structured hills that were formed by water and wind into intriguing shapes. They offer breathtaking views due to their bareness.

The park is divided into three main zones. The central plain, Bardena Blanca (White Bardena), is the one that resembles a desert the most. The Plano is a small plateau which is almost completely flat, as the name suggests. Bardena Negra (Black Bardena) takes its name from the dark soil that is typical for the area.
