Battery Spencer

This abandoned gun battery on Fort Baker is known primarily as a site offering one of the most spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge. If you're lucky you may get a view of the bridge covered in fog - probably the most iconic image you can get.

Though there are parking spots available close to the viewpoint, they are limited in number. However, the viewing area is quite vast so it can easily accommodate great numbers of tourists.
