Benjamin Franklin House

Local nameBenjamin Franklin House
LocationLondon, UK

This house was home to the Founding Father for more than 15 years and remains his only surviving residence. In 1998, it was restored and transformed into an interesting historical and biographical museum.

Historical Experience shows feature an actor playing Polly Hewson, daughter of Franklin's landlady who was like a 'second daughter' to Franklin. Polly treats the visitor as if he came to visit Franklin on his last night in London, shows him around the residence and lets him learn more about how Franklin lived.
