Singapore's tallest hill. When compared to other hills around the world, it's pretty short (only 163 meters), but the flora and fauna diversity is immense. There are more species of trees here than in the North American continent. You are going to encounter various animals, the most frequent ones being monkeys.
There is a variety of hiking trails you can choose to climb, the shortest of them takes only about 15 minutes, but the most difficult ones can take several hours, and require a good physique to get all the way to the top.
After being closed for almost two years, it is now fully renovated and safe for anyone to come and enjoy some time away from the concrete jungle.
Don't forget to take a repellent with you. When you spot wild monkeys, avoid feeding them. The tougher routes are not suitable for people with knee problems or people who can't climb stairs because some of them are knee-high here. Drinking water and toilets are only at the base of the hill, so prepare up front.
If you're traveling by car, make sure to arrive here early in the morning, because it's difficult to find parking spots after 8-9 AM. You can also get here by buses 67, 75, 170, 171, 184, 852 and 961.
