Discovered in the 1970s, this is a section of the main boulevard of what used to be the Roman city. Dating back to the 6th century AD, it served as a major royal road, as it was common in all great Roman cities. At the time, it was lined with columns and notable sights and the whole street was covered with a wooden roof.
