Dobogó-kő is a popular tourist area. It officially belongs to Pilisszentkereszt village in Hungary. It is the highest peak of the Visegrád Mountains.
Here can be found the Ödön Téry Memorial, a stone pyramid built in memory of one of great pioneers of Hungarian tourism. The former Eötvös Loránd Menedékház now serves as an exhibition of the history of tourism in Hungary. There are several hiking routes from the peak towards Prédikálószék, Pám Ravine, Árpád-vár, Thirring Rock and some others.
Larger settlements nearby are Dömös and Szentendre.
