España Industrial Park

Local nameParc de l'Espanya Industrial
LocationSants, Barcelona, Spain

As the name suggests, this park was built on a site of a former textile factory. It now contains many trees, a large plaza, artificial lake and fountains.

Several modern sculptures originally created for the 1929 International Exhibition were put here - such as the large metal structure of dragon honoring the patron saint of Catalonia. It was created by Andrés Nagel and it also works as a slide for children.
