This 19th-century fort has served several purposes, being used as a defence structure, fishing spot, or tide gauge and weather station. It is now home to a restaurant and a history museum. You can take a tour of the island that will guide you through its history and the importance of the fort.

You can access the fort by ferry or water taxi, it takes 5 minutes if departing from Circular Quay.
