Geneva Airport airport is located around 4 km from Geneva's city centre. The airport, which is also known as Cointrin Airport, offers flights mainly to European destinations but features also a number of flights to North America and the Middle East.
Terminal 1 is well-equipped with many restaurants, children's playgrounds, and business lounges. Terminal 2 is used only during winter months and its facilities are limited.
Terminal 1 is closed in the morning from 00:00 to 04:00 for security reasons.
Terminal 2 is used only for some flights during the winter season. At all other times, it is closed and handles no flights.
