Hakone is a town in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 April 2021, the town had an estimated population of 10,837 and a population density of 3000 persons per km². The total area of the town is 92.82 km2. The town is a popular tourist destination due to its many hot springs and views of Mount Fuji.
