Hell's Gate

This former city gate, dating back to 1229, is the oldest surviving city gate in the Netherlands. It was used as a storage space, armoury and an artist’s studio and and nowadays, it houses a museum with exhibitions on Maastricht's history. The views from the top are also worth the visit!
