This imposing column is the most prominent sight of the Trinity Square. Made at the very beginning of the 18th century, it serves to remind the passerbys of the lives lost during two greatest outbreaks of the Black Plague, which happened in 1691 and 1709. It is the product of the artistic work of Fulop Ungleich.
