This museum may not be the right place to visit for the faint of heart. It documents the grim legacy of the fascist and communist regimes, which have plundered the country in the past. It also serves as a memorial to the victims of these regimes, including the unfortunate souls, who lost their lives within the building itself.
There is a single permanent exhibition in the museum, located on the second floor. It spreads across eight large exhibition halls, with the items on display sorted chronologically.
Due to the nature of the exhibitions, photography and filming is forbidden inside the museum.
On certain special dates the museum is closed, please check the official website for more information.
