Established in 1453, this university is one of the oldest in Turkey. The motto of the university highlights the long tradition with these words: "Leadership in Higher Education for Centuries".
Beside the labs, canteens and all the facilities a modern university should offer to students, the main campus also boasts two unique pieces of architecture: a splendid entrance and an 85-metres tall tower.
