The second largest lake of the five lakes in the Mount Fuji region. It is popular for its natural beauty and splendid scenery - an especially marvelous way of exploring it is by a boat. The best time to visit is during the cherry blossom season (mid April). The view is often spoiled by clouds - come early in the morning for the best visibility.
