Leidseplein Square

Leidseplein, or also Leiden Square, is the ideal place to enjoy a night out in Amsterdam. This spacious square is packed with bars and clubs and it is a popular nightlife hub both among the tourists and the locals. You won’t regret if you visit it during the day either - the square is full of restaurants offering various types of food, as well as plenty of coffee shops, and it bustles with life.

The square is located in the southern part of the city centre, so it is easy to reach both by foot and by bike, and you can find many other attractions close by. There are also plenty of stops for public transport all around the place since several tram lines intersect directly on the square.
