Liptovská Mara

Liptovská Mara is a water reservoir created in the second half of the 20th century to prevent floods. Its creation led to the relocation of more than 4000 people who lived in the villages that were originally in the reservoir's place.
Nowadays, it's a lovely place for water sports, swimming, taking a cruise on a ship and others. It's a commonly visited place due to its many possibilities, especially in summer.
