A major international airport located near Crawley in West Sussex, roughly 48 km south of Central London. It is the second-busiest airport in the UK (after London Heathrow) and the eighth-busiest airport in Europe.
The airport has two terminals, the North Terminal and the South Terminal, connected by a two-way automated people mover system. It operates as a single-runway airport. Both terminals have shops and restaurants landside and airside, you can get a drink or bite to eat 24/7 and World Duty Free is also open 24/7. All areas are accessible to disabled passengers, there are baby care facilities and business travellers can visit specialised lounges.
The North Terminal has a passenger bridge to/from pier 6 that is high enough to allow aircraft to taxi beneath the bridge.
