Scandinavia's oldest Renaissance castle is conveniently situated just a stone's throw from the train station. The castle was alternately owned by both Danish and Swedish forces. The stately fortress now houses various collections of Malmö Museum, including old paintings, stuffed animals or torture instruments. There is also a gallery dedicated to Nordic art.
