Built at the beginning of the 19th century, this is one of the oldest mosques in Singapore. It still actively serves the Tamil Muslim community. The exterior's most notable features are two octagonal minarets which frame the entrance. Though the mosque serves as an example of Eclectic architecture, its prayer halls are built in the Neoclassical style.

Opening hours

The mosque management offers a variety of programs and seminars related to the history of the mosque and Islam. All visitors are required to wear appropriate attire (skirts, short pants are not allowed). Please, refer to the official website for more information.
