Norfolk International Airport is seven miles northeast of downtown Norfolk, within the boundaries of the independent city in Virginia, United States. It is owned and operated by the Norfolk Airport Authority: a bureau under the municipal government. The airport serves the Hampton Roads metropolitan area of southeast Virginia as well as northeast North Carolina. There are currently no international destinations with regularly scheduled service from the airport.
The Federal Aviation Administration 2022 categorized it as a small hub airport.
