The iconic Victorian houses in this neighbourhood are definitely worth seeing. The architecture, together with a great location that offers majestic views of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge, make this district one of the most charming ones in the city and a place not to miss even if you are visiting SF only for a short time.

Apart from the most renowned Painted Ladies, you may also recognise some of the other houses as they featured in various films (for example Mrs. Doubtfire and Princess Diaries).
