Paramount Studios is the Los Angeles base of the fifth oldest film studios in the world, the Paramount Pictures Corporation. If you venture inside the premises, you can take a look at the place where movies like Titanic, Transformers, Iron Man, Star Trek or Indiana Jones have been made. You will also be able to gain an insider's knowledge of the movie-making background since Paramount Studios are still working studios and not a theme entertainment park. You may even glimpse a movie star here.
Paramount Pictures were founded as early as 1912 by Adolph Zukor and by 1926, the Studios were built, at the same location they still stand today. The studios are open to visitors, but only as a part of a guided tour. It is not possible to explore all areas within the studios, either.
If you choose to enter the studios, you will first get a custom-made badge with your name on it in the waiting room. During the visit, you can expect to walk among people working for the studios, see actual filming locations, and check out and try many props and costumes.
