Paulava Republic was a peasant community in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania with its own parliament, army, and laws.Located around the Merkinė Manor in present-day Šalčininkai District Municipality, Lithuania, it covered an area of 30.4 km2 and had about 800 residents.
