Visit the so-called "green heart" of the city and admire the extensive park which is home to numerous small orchards and gardens, a church and a mirror maze. Located on top of Petřín Hill, which overlooks the Vltava river, this garden is also popular for its splendid views of the city.
Originally, this place was used as a vineyard, later transformed into an orchard which currently features more than 2500 fruit trees. There is also a bronze monument of the Czech journalist, writer, and poet Jan Neruda, as well as a small bronze fountain.
The top of the hill is accessible via Petřín funicular. Use your public transport ticket to board it. Once up, you should not miss visiting Prague's observatory tower.
