Built during the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD, this tower is one of the oldest structures in Cologne. Originally, there were 19 such towers in the city that were part of the Roman city walls. Unfortunately, only four of them remained and can be seen today. Out of these, this is the best-preserved and most beautiful one.
