Spice Souk

One of Dubai's many Arab-style markets, although this one is smaller than most. The rainbow-coloured spices here make for an amazing sight, especially for foodies. The spices sold in the market include pepper, cumin or cinnamon. However, you can also find some stalls with souvenirs here.

You probably won’t see many prices written down here, because you are usually expected to haggle. You will be told the initial price and then the game begins. One of the strategies involve long decision-making after which the sellers tend to decrease the price to encourage you to buy the goods. It might be difficult at first, but eventually you will figure out which approach works and which does not.

The souk is easily accessible by metro - nearest station is Al Ras.
