Trump Tower

This 202 m, 58-storey high building was one of the first mixed-use skyscrapers that got recognition in the world. It is based on the Fifth Avenue, a very prominent location of New York, and serves as a residential, commercial and retail space.

The construction itself was, in a way, revolutionary, as the construction executive was a woman - Barbara Res. At that time, she was one of the very few women who got to oversee the assembly of such a major site in New York.

The Trump Tower offers an outstanding view of the Central Park, Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue. One of the more frequently visited parts of the tower is a restaurant called the Trump Grill. Some of the meals on the menu are based on Trump's grandmother recipes. There is also the Trump Café and the Trump Bar. The architects of this skyscraper found a way to build a five-storey high waterfall into the eastern wall of the building.
