Whether you come here to skateboard, bike, walk, or tan, you are in for an unusual experience. The Boardwalk is the most popular area around here, and everyone can participate in it for free. It is a parade of street musicians, mimes, fortune tellers, quirky talent show-offs and includes every eccentric way of entertaining people imaginable.
Aside from the observing entertainment, it is also a home to numerous souvenir stands, where you can buy anything from pictures and postcards to rocks and sculptures, arts and crafts and the commodity this boardwalk flourishes with - t-shirts. There are also several medical marijuana clinics and tattoo shops.
It is not recommended to visit a public restroom here because they tend to be unsanitary and smell bad. There are several ways to get here by public transport, but the main one is by bus line 1 which has numerous stops near the beach.
