Vienna International Airport

The largest Austrian airport handling more than 20 million passengers annually. Located in Schwechat, 18 km southeast of the centre of Vienna, it serves the capital and many Austrian cities. Moreover, it is also a major gateway for Austria’s neighbouring countries such as the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia and Slovakia.

The airport has four terminals named 1, 1A, 2 and 3. Terminal 1A is a temporary building serving mostly low-cost airlines. In Terminals 1 and 3, there is a number of shops, cafés and restaurants, both airside and landside. There is also a supermarket, where you can buy everything you need for your holiday.
