Dating back to the 16th century, this is one of the most cherished temple complexes in the region. Luang Prabang is both beautiful and spiritually significant monument. Note the depictions from Buddha's life on the doors and Lao legends on the outer wall of the temple. The whole complex contains several structures - a sim, shrines, pavilions, and residences.
