Ziębice is a town in Ząbkowice Śląskie County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.
The town lies on the Oława River, approximately 16 kilometres east of Ząbkowice Śląskie and 59 kilometres south of the regional capital Wrocław. It is the seat of the administrative district called Gmina Ziębice.
During the Middle Ages, the town was the capital of a Silesian duchy, the Duchy of Münsterberg. In 1742, it became part of Prussia and was the capital of Kreis Münsterberg. In 1871, Münsterberg became part of the German Empire along with the rest of Silesia. In 1945, Münsterberg was transferred to Poland, under the name Ziębice and its German population was expelled.
