천안문

천안문 혹은 톈안먼은 베이징의 황성의 남문이다. 자금성의 남쪽, 톈안먼 광장의 북쪽에 있다. 중화인민공화국의 국장에 들어가 있을 정도로 국가를 대표하는 상징물이며, 가장 유명한 랜드마크들 중 하나이기도 하다. 천안문은 1420년에 명나라의 영락제가 처음으로 지었으며, 이후 명나라, 청나라, 중화민국 시기를 거쳐 현재에 이르게 되었다.
