The interior of this mosque is similar to the Hagia Sofia. Sultan Bayezid II, his daughter and grand vizier are buried in its garden. The construction started in 16th-century and the whole complex included school, Turkish bath and public kitchen. Some of the buildings formally belonging to mosque complex nowadays houses State Library of Istanbul.
