College of Saint Teresa

Local nameColegio Teresiano de Barcelona
Locationles Tres Torres, Barcelona, Spain

The construction of the college was taken over by Gaudí in 1889, who was originally hired to design just the facade. Gaudí did not have a lot of funding, but even with a use of cheap material, he managed to create an impressive sight.

The school is built in a Neo-Gothic style and the facade combines boarding and brick. Note the religious symbols on the facade, many of them referencing to Saint Teresa.
