The residential block was refurbished between 1902 and 1903 in Modernista style by one of the leading architects of Catalan Modernisme, Josep Puig i Cadafalch. The interior is beautifully decorated with mosaics and colorful ceramic floral motifs. One of its main draws is the collection of sculptures by Eusebi Arnau.
Currently, the palace houses offices of the Institut Ramon Llull, but it is open to visitors on Wednesdays. Tours in Catalan, Spanish and English are offered. The tour takes approximately 45 minutes.
