One of the icons of Los Angeles - a 13-storey tower housing Capitol Records offices - which was built in 1955. It is quite unusual because of its round shape and it has a special light located at the top of the tower that spells the word Hollywood in Morse code (from the very beginning of the existence of the tower).
You may also remember the building from films (e.g. Hancock or The Day After Tomorrow). Sadly, it is not open to the public. It is however quite imposing even from the outside so be sure to stop by and take some photos.
