Manhattan Bridge

One of the most often photographed landmarks in New York, this bridge crossing the East River is a must-see for every visitor. It is over 2 kilometres long and over a century old. Remember to look around as you traverse across it. You will be welcomed with a wonderful view of Manhattan, as well as Downtown New York.

The bridge featured in many popular films. You may have seen it in the 2005 movie King Kong, the 2007 movie I Am Legend, or the last instalment of the Batman trilogy: The Dark Knight Rises.

It can be a little loud on the bridge due to the large amount of traffic that passes it. It serves as a passageway not only for cars and pedestrians but also the subway carriages.
