Olympic Port

Local namePort Olímpic
LocationBarcelona, Spain

The port was established before the 1992 Summer Olympics and then served as a location for sailing events.

After the Games, the marina turned into a recreational area and nowadays brings a lot of fun to its visitors. It is full of hotels, restaurants, and bars - the nightlife here is pretty busy especially on Friday and Saturday nights during summer. However, you can also visit this area in the daylight and enjoy the view of the boats anchoring there.

Two skyscrapers were built here to house athletes during the Olympic Games. Now they are used as an office building and a 5-star luxury hotel.
