Al-Nasir Muhammad Mosque

Local nameجامع الناصر محمد بن قلاوون
LocationEl Hataba, Cairo, Egypt

Al-Nasir Muhammad Mosque, dating back to the 14th century, is a gem of the so-called Mamluk Architecture. This style got its name from the Mamluk Sultanate, a dynasty ruling from 1250 to 1517. Two beautifully decorated minarets as well as its richly decorated interior are definitely worth seeing.
