Fountain of Neptune

The Neo-classical square was constructed in the 18th century and is adorned with the Fountain of Neptune, designed by the Spanish sculptor Juan Pascual de Mena.

This place is located near many interesting landmarks, such as Prado National Museum, Congress of Deputies, and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. It is worth visiting especially during the night, as it is beautifully lit.

If you happen to be in the city when Atlético de Madrid wins a championship, this is the place where all its fans gather and celebrate together with the players.

The nearest metro station is Banco de España.
