Petrin Funicular

Local nameLanová dráha na Petřín
LocationMalá Strana, Prague, Czechia

Avoid climbing the steep hill on foot and enjoy the beautiful views while sitting comfortably in your seat in this funicular, which has been in use since 1891. It rides up to the 130 m-high Petřín hill with three stops: Újezd, the middle station Nebozízek and the highest station Petřín. If you decide to get off at the middle station, you will be amazed by a splendid view of the Prague Castle.

Beware of long lines in peak season. Unfortunately, the funicular is wheelchair inaccessible. Also note that the funicular is out of operation during regular spring and autumn revisions.
