LocationPraha 1, Prague, Česko

See the oldest astronomical clock still in use in the world with your own eyes. This 600-year-old masterpiece is a must see when in Prague! Located on a wall of Old Town Hall, it is a dominant feature of the Old Town Square.

The first mention of the clock dates back to 1410. Besides the current time and date, the clock face shows also the location of sun and moon and its phase and several other astrological measurements.

The figures beside the dial move on every hour. The show is very popular especially during peak season – arrive early in order to see well.
